Out of curiosity about the Ksyriums....PeterRider

... since I see those wheels everywhere: what is the rim weight on the regulars (Elite?) and on the SL ? and how do those spokes compare to the popular Sapim CX-ray ?

Also, everybody seems to be pleased with their stiffness. What is the source of this stiffness, rims or spokes or both ? I thought that radial lacing and low spokes count were precisely no good for stiffness...

The ansnwer to your question is "both." Ks sl spokes are some serious stuff. If you've physically picked one up and felt it you'd know. Ksyriums may not be the wheels for everyone but if you want one of the toughtest maintenance-free stiff wheelset there you go.
