Carbon seat post in an Aegis frame?offrhodes2

Can a carbon seat post be used in an Aegis frame? Would the binder crush the post? If you can use a carbon post who makes a 26.8 post? Or would it be possible to use a 25.0 Alien with a shim with out the post sliding? Who makes a titanium 26.8 post if a carbon one cannot be used?

Thanks,
Paul

You definately can put a carbon post in a carbon frame. Not the binder wont crush the post, but the 25.0 with a shim is a great idea. If you decide to go with a ti post, USE make the alien in titanium also. Moots aslo makes a damn fine nice post.
