|Computer mount on EC90 31.8 bar?||fallzboater|

|I have an EC90 31.8 carbon bar and Deda Newton stem. The problem is that the bar taper begins just outside of the clamp area, so there's no cylindrical portion to clamp a computer or light mount to next to the stem. I don't like anything farther outboard, since I grip next to the stem while descending in a tuck. I've been using a Sigma Computer mounted on the stem, but I'd prefer something mounted ahead of the bar, like a Flite Deck. Any solutions that don't involve excessive use of duct tape?

|I have 31.8 Deda Magic bars and have the same problem. I use a Cronometro Nob Computer Mount ($9.99-Colorado Cyclist). It mounts to your stem, you have your entire bar area clear for placing your hands where ever you want. Your computer is tucked out of the way in a nice safe place and easy to view by just looking straight down. It's probably a $.50 part that goes for $10.00, but I've used mine for 1 1/1 years and no problems....|

|....Super Over ITM Millennium aluminum and carbon bars have an extended oversized area, which allows for proper computer mounting alignment.
I realize this doesn't do you much good but for other future shoppers it could be relevant.

|I just bought a new Specialized wireless elite. The computer came with both 26.0 and 31.8 mounts.
I'm not sure how the Sigma mounts but a zip tie in place of a screw works on Cateye computers

|A couple of zip ties and a small strip of rubber under the computer clamp did the trick. Unless you were looking for it, you can't tell that anything was rigged.|
