Well, new ones on eBay are going from $130-$155. It's ironic that the one used one went for $172!

Why risk used at that price?bigdeal

WiseCycleBuys has NEW 2004 Chorus derailleurs for $165, shipped! (no affiliation). 2004 Chorus is 2003 Record, in some cases with improvements (shifters), not that it is necessary.

2004 Chorus RD is not a 2003 Record RD as it lacks the Ti bolts....(not that it makes any/much performance/weight difference) and as such a 2003 Record RD will be far better in the price/kudos stakes.
I'd say $50 at most nmDougSloan

Unless it's dirt chaeap. Better to buy a new Chourus derailleur to keep the cost down. Service life will be as good, maybe better. I just got a 2003 Chorus medium cage RD and a Record triple front derailleur for $150 from www.wisecyclebuys.com.
Buy a new one for less than $180.unchained

or look for a dealer demo or blowout on eBay. They are changing the cage material next year (not necessarily a plus), so their may be closeouts!

I once picked up a 2000 9sp Record Ti new for $125, all because Campy had switched to Carbon.
