What do you think of the Velocity's Spartacus Pro wheelset?
I know you like their stuff. These look like they are a good deal. How do you think they would hold up for everyday use?

I've never riden them. I am a big fan of the Cane Creek and American Classic wheels. I like Velocity's rims, but I have no idea about the hubs they use in these wheels. I have thought about getting a set of these though, as I can get them really cheap. But I just don't really need another set of wheels right now. Well, that's until my new Dura-Ace 10 bike this year.

Happy Thanksgiving by the way everyone!

I've got a set. They really are rock solid and smooth. I've never had any problem with them. I used them for a training wheel in the past and now I only use them as a "winter" training wheel. They can take the occassional pothole. I broke one spoke after about 3000 miles. I simply removed the spoke and rode it home. The wheel didn't even go out of true.

The only real problem is that the spokes are not a normal length. I went to 4 different shops trying to find a spoke. The last one luckily had the capability to make spokes so I was back in business that day. Otherwise I would have been SOL until I could get one through the mail.
