|Ksyrium wheels & Campy cassette lockring?||Triphop|

|The 12-25 Campy cassette I have does not come with the lock ring, as the lock ring comes standard with the Campy hubs instead. However, I am picking up a set of Ksyriums. Question is, do the Ksryiums come with a cassette lock ring, or will I have to buy that seperately?

|....very durable however. Unlike Shimano the Mavic lock ring doesn't include a thin metal shim. It gets chewed up pretty bad after several removals. I also find it rather strange that Campy doesn't include a lock ring with their larger cassettes, considering all 11-T ones do.|

|Campy includes it with the hubs. They have to put it with the 11 tooth cassettes because the ones they package with the hubs is for a 12 tooth small cog... and the 11 tooth lockring is not interchangable with it. But they make the assumption that you already got one when you bought your hubs and they only give you one for the 11 tooth cogs because they think you will need a new one. They don't really account for aftermarket Campy wheels.
I suspect that this will change this year and they will just package the lockring with the cassette, but who knows what those Italians are thinking...
