|Hey all, have a question regarding stems. I used the stem rise/run chart on the Habanero site and figure that with an 80 degree 100cm stem on a bike with 73 degree Head Tube Angle, with 2cm of spacers below the stem is equivalent to a 90 cm stem. Is that right or am I way off?|

|An 80 degree stem only produces 7 degrees of addtional rise, compared to a tradtional 73 degree stem. A 100cm stem is "shortened" by less than 1mm due to this small angle, for all practical purposes, 80 degree stems are full length.|

|If you're trying to get rid of the 2cm of spacers, about the closet you're going to get to your original 10cm x 80 degree setup is with the following:
0cm spacers and 10cm x 90 degree stem.
Taking the head tube angle and the reduction in spacers into account, this should put the bar 0.42cm further out horizontally and 0.2cm lower vertically.
