|I'm thinking of putting road bars on my SS mtb. Nashbar (and others, prob ebay) has the Shimano brake lever (non-sti) for around $40. Will these work with cantis? The blurb on Nashbar says they are "compatible with Dura Ace, Ultegra, 105, RX100 and RSX calipers."
Any help is appreciated.

|got sti with avid 4 cantis on the poop-green monster. sti/non-sti should not make a difference. work fine, just don't expect cantis to walk on water.
fwiw i still think that abomination would look "interesting" with mtb levers on drop bar tops. :)

|Is there any problem using linear pull levers with cantilever brakes? I have a project that requires mountain style levers and the linear pull levers are easier to find these days.
