Lemond has come out with a reasonably priced ($1300-1500) Alumimum bike with ultegra components for 04.

Is this just another taiwanese made frame? Not that there is anything wrong with that. What would be the advantage of buying the Lemond over a Fuji or other in that price range? Geometry?? Quality?? Craftmanship??

Same as buying a Trek over a Fuji at that price point. That's who owns Lemond and makes their bikes, so quality and craftsmanship are all the same across the board as Trek's road bikes.

Geometry charts are online so you can compare to older Lemonds if you wish.

For what it's worth, I rode the bike and I thought it was OK. But when I try to compare it to my own bikes, it's not a fair comparision, so I won't. But it rides as well as the aluminium Treks in my opinion. It's right up there with the 2300.

BTW, price should be closer to the $1200, not above $1300. nmrussw19
