Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows if Shimano still makes 28 hole Dura Ace 9 speed hubs? I have seen them used on Ebay, but I was hoping to get a new pair. Thanks.

Chances are the answer to your question is no... shimano are undoubtedly not making 9sp 28h dura ace hubs any more. The reason for that is because they will now be concentrating on making the new dura ace hubs in 28h, the 7800 hubs. co cyc and excel and the other big places should have them if you want to go that route.

The Shimano web site shows spoke holes of 36/32/28/24/20 and 32/28/24/20/16/12 for Aero Type (slotted, I think).

The only non-eBay place that I have seen them is at Airbomb, which I know nothing about. http://store.airbomb.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=HU0704 for the front and http://store.airbomb.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=HU0724 for the rear.

Excel still stocks the non-slotted 28H type. Got one from them two weeks ago. Front hub only $ 39,-.
