Try Mike Garcia at Oddsandendos.com... He recently hooked me up on some Fusions...

The Fusion is more a Mid-V than a Deep-V, it's a 25mm profile, the Deep-V is 30mm. And I just saw your post in a lower thread... I can probably get you a set of either for $50 each, what drilling pattern do you need and how soon do you need them? I can call Velocity tomorrow and check out the availability of the Fusion, but Quality has the Deep-V, the Aerohead, and the Razor all in stock in 32 and 36 hole. I can get you any of those for around $45 to $50 each, but I would have to double check on the Fusions for you.

Just checking out possibility of building a set of Fusions (or Deep V). Just started looking a few weeks ago. Have a set of Fusions with 18 front and 24 rear. Have built Mavic OPs and like them, but they are a bit heavy. I'm 210 lbs so don't want anything too flimsy.

Should have mentioned that I am thinking radial not cross- spoking.

Rims won't be a factor for radial lacing, it's only problems are with the hubs. There are a few companies that make hubs with thicker flanges so that you can use radial laced spokes. Just not Shimano or Campy. Look into Phil Hubs if you want radial, or the American Classics.

Or, I posted in another thread, if you really want to use Shimano hubs, right now Colorado Cyclist has the 9 speed Dura-Ace front hub in slotted (for bladed spokes) 32 hole on sale for like $17 each. That's a crazy low price.

thanks for the info. I am running Campy and do prefer a larger rear flange. Will also check with Mike Garcia at Speedcific.
