|Where can I get custom built Zipp wheels?||my327vette|

I would like to get a pair of Zipp 303 rims built up with a higher spoke count and dura ace hubs. I want something a little more durable than a stock pair of 303's, but still relatively lightweight. Does anyone know of any builders in the Philadelphia, PA area or online retailers who build them? Thanks.

|So where do you suppose you will get these Zipp 303 rims with extra spoke holes? Presumably Zipp sells wheels with the drillings they offer, and doesn't sell rims with other drilling. Rather than looking for a builder, you should start your quest with finding Zipp rims that Zipp doesn't make.|

|they're built on 404 rims. you might actually want to call Zipp directly, I think they do make their rims in more than their standard drillings. never tried it myself, mind you.|

|Actually they make thier rims with a variety of drillings. They are listed in thier catalog.|

|As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow ---- ask about Ksyriums, Zipps, etc and Kerry is sure to tell you that you're being stupid and just get some open pros with Dura Ace hubs.
He does have a point to some degree.
I'm not so sure about Pro Link being the best lube on earth with a bottle lasting 28,000 miles. Seems like regular old oil to me. But we'll save that one for later ...

|They sell Zipp rims separate (for $350 each!!) and would probably be happy to build you the wheels you are after.

|Pretty much any LBS can order the rims for you. Then its just a matter of putting them together.
I built a pair of 404 track wheels with 24/24 drilling on a pair of Superbe Pro hubs.
I've built a 340 wheel in 28 holes.
It ain't rocket science, just a PITA.
