Dura-Ace Rear Derailleur adjustmentglia

I put new cabels on my bike (Metawire). Shifting is smooth and accurate when on the big chainring throughout all cogs. However, shifting is inaccurate on the small chainring for the largest 3-4 cogs (18,19,21,23). It is fine for the smaller ones. It is particularly bad under load, when I am on steep climbs. I use a compact FSA carbon crank (34/50 chainrings) and a 12-23 Dura-Ace cog.
I have been playing with the tension adjuster but just can't get it quite right. Any suggestions?

I assume that it worked fine before you changed the cables. That would rule out everything but the cables. Was anything else changed?

You don't have an 18 on a 12-23, but that's irrelevant.

Nothing with the chainline was changed, right? You didn't just install the FSA. But this line of though would make it worse on the large ring.

If you get the inside liner on the Metawire longer than the outside aluminum, the liner will squish (technical term) and change the effective length of the housing. But should do the same on both rings.

Sorry, unless more information is available....?
