Can someone give a dimension off the new Shimano pedal?High Gear

I need the dimension from the center of the pedal to the face of the spindle that butt up against the crank. That will give me an idea of the Q factor.
Mine's approx 5.25 cm nmtorquecal

My Ultegra (PD-R600) measure 5.25cm as given by other poster - just wondering if the DA SPD SL pedal is the same, given its different configuration (i.e. no pedal wrench required/possible)

Here's the Ultegra (PD-R600)

FWIW I think these pedals are excellent.

Ooops, I guess I should've mentioned mine are the DA version (only impulse buy I can remember that I'm still happy with months later). Anyway, if yours are 5.25 cm also I guess they are the same.

It must be a slow day... or I am totally anal!!

but strictly speaking isn't the 'Q' factor the distance between the outboard edge of your cranks?

Well, I think it refers to how far the feet are outboard in the end. I know Look alows the cleat to be moved in or outboard with it's large holes. Some pedals have a longer axial, pushing the pedal further out. I pedal better with my feet closer inboard.

OK High Gear, I know what you are getting at.

The SPD SL cleats allow a certain amount of sideways as well as front and back adjustment... maybe 5-6mm sideways.

You should know that in my experience it was firstly hard to get the cleat as far back as I needed it (even on a shimano shoe) and secondly as the cleats are very wide the sideways adjustment can leave you with the cleats verging off the edge of the sole, if you have them way back.

I am still very happy with them!
