I am looking to buy a used pair of Speedplay X2 or X3 pedals. A few pairs I've looked at do not come with cleats. Anyone know the approximate price of a new pair of cleats? Thanks.

the zero cleats are $40 at Performance. I'm not sure of the retail prices on the regular cleats.

There's a pair of cleats on ebay.

You will need the snap-shim X cleats (not the Zero cleats). They retail for $37 at all the major online retailers. Sometimes they can be found on classified boards for less. Also would recommend getting the "coffee cap" covers which when worn will prolong the cleats' life.

They list for $40 but I just bought a set for $34 at my LBS. Also, if you have Carnac or Time shoes, you will need the Carnac or Time adapters for an additional cost.
