|I have seen these wheels fly past me on the road and wonder what they hell they are.
Anyone know? Price, weight, availability?
Some guy is selling this complete on EBAY and he doesn't know what wheels they are...

|These wheels came with Giant road bikes(e.g. MCR) a few years back. Don't know the name of the wheels. Definitely no longer made.
Not sure about the performance, I heard they are quite heavy.
|They, like the MCR, are a Burrough's (sp?) design.||sn69|

|He's the guy who brought Giant into the "modern" age, eventually developing the _CR-series bikes. I too have never actually ridden these, although I've heard the same--very heavy. I'd also be suspect that replacement parts would be hard to come by. Still, I've seen a fair amount of these (and the MCRs they're usually mated to) in Hong Kong.

|You can still buy the front wheels at least from MDT in the UK at GBP 155 as part of a package to include Veloflex tire, rim tape etc. see...
No mention of weight, but you can always ask. Andy Sharpe is a great guy to deal with, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
