|Computer mounting problem - please help...||dgangi|

|I recently purchased a Planet Bike cyclocomputer for my bike but ran into a serious mounting issue. The mounting bracket for the computer is sized to accommodate a "standard" thickness bar. However, the bars on my bike are oversized Ritchey Pro's (31mm) and the mounting bracket for the computer is nowhere close to fitting -- it's way too small!
I checked the Planet Bike website and the only difference in their mounting kits is the length of the signal wire ("standard" vs. tandem. vs rear wheel mount). There are no "oversized" mounting kits available.
What computers will work with the oversized bars on my bike? I can't imagine that I am the only person who has run into this dilemma...

|and run it through both holes. You might have to remove the metal nut that is pressed into the plastic. You can tighten it and cut with a pair of pliers. Works great!|

|Do they come out-of-the box with this ability or do I have to purchase an "oversized handlebar mounting kit" for some outrageous price??

|I have the same bars. The Cateye Astrale has a tooth-lock adjustable clamp, standard. Works great.
