Sep 27, 2003 2:53 PM | | My name is Jon Severson and I am the guy who bought up the old LEW rim stock. I was the former head of Customer Service and Wheelbuilding at LEW until they went under. Reynold's left behind 100's of rims when they bought the technology from LEW Composites when it went under. All perfectly good, just they needed to have their own.
If you want a set of wheels, we have two options available to you: Stock or Custom.
Stock is not what the LEW specs were.....I've taken to building them up much better than before. Special EDCO Olympic hubs coupled with Straight Pull Spokes and DT PRO LOCK nipples being built on a top of the line wheel truing stand using a $300 digital Tensiometer I can assure you these are the best built wheels out there.
My "Palermo" goes for $750
My "Sydney" goes for $1250
Customs start at $1400
This is less than what dealer cost was and is cheaper than the comparable Reynolds product would cost your local dealer. Not to mention the price is on par with a set of ZIPP 303's making this a tough deal to turn down.
We are also doing rebuilds for current LEW wheel owners. Want to have a professional re-lace your LEWS with new spokes? We can do it. Want to replace your troublesome White Industries hubs with a solid EDCO Olympic hub with straigh pull spokes? Consider it done. Or maybe you want to rebuild using black American Classic Hubs and black CX-Ray spokes? It ain't cheap but we can do it.
Have HED's, ZIPP's, Corima's, or other high tension wheel you don't trust the local shop "wheelbuilder" to touch? Contact us. Just want a well built set of alloy wheels that aren't machine built? Or want custom wheels without paying the "guru" price? Contact us.

And Kerry is right.... the guy just posted an ad. He should pay the ad fee. I mean, really, would it kill the guy to spend the whole $3 fee and putting this in the classifieds?
