Spend 235 dollars on a hub and the manufacturer doesnt even throw in the tool that allows you to adjust the hub.

Anyway does anyone have a way that i can adjust the preload of my CK hub w/o using the CK specific tool and not messing up the hub?

Thanks

This is covered in the Owner's Manual; anyway, one wrench in each side of the hub axle. Once you've loosened them, just use your fingers (hold the wrench still) to adjust the hub collar, then tighten. Front--adjust until the collar contacts the bearings, then loosen slightly. Rear--takes a little higher preload.
