A friend of mine is shopping for a set of wheels. Which one would you pick. He weighs about 190 lbs. He's looking for a durable, lightweight wheels and these are his choices.

They were more comfortable, most likely due to the Ti spokes. I am also a bigger rider (around 205) and between the two, I would pick the Aeroheads again.

Russ,
how many miles do you have so far on the Cane Creeks? Did you ever have to true them?

I had a set of the Cane Creek Aerohead Team Ti's last year on a Shimano equipped bike. I put about 12000 miles on them and never touched them. They were rock solid. This year I switched to American Classic 420's as I built up a Record bike. They are also equally solid. I actually bought a new set of the Cane Creeks this year with a Campy freehub body, the newer Volos Ti's but I have never riden them yet. They are the new version of the Aeroheads.... they have the offset rear rim, bigger hub flanges and are all black. If you have a campy drivetrain and are interested in them, let me know. But they are Campy compatible, not Shimano.
