|How excact do spoke lengths need to be. I plane to build a set of Campy Veloce 8sp hubs with CXP-22 rims. I assume the CXP-22 is close to the same as a cxp-30 which is what the spoke calc site had listed in its data base. It calls for 286.9mm on the front and 286.3/284.5 on the rear. How much leeway is there in these measurements?|

|287mm for front and left rear, and 285 for right rear. You could even take 287mm all over, but having a bit shorter spokes on the drive side makes it easier to have it centered from the start of the build.
Did you compare the specs on the mavic website ? If they are similar I bet you're going to be fine.

|the ERD of the CXP-22(599mm) to be one mm more than the CXP-33(598mm). I would measure the hubs unless you are sure. Get spokes to the nearest mm or to the nearest even mm if that's how they are sold. How many spokes and what cross did you get your numbers for?

|3 cross and 32 spokes. I didn't win my ebay bid though so the cxp-22 fell through. Where do you get your info on the ERD of the rims. Is this info available before purchase to calc spokes. The spoke calc program I was using is on the web and doesn't have all rims in its data base.|| |
