I want to make a hybrid bike because I need to sit more upright (for various reasons). I have a new Simano 105 everything, and I'm thinking of changing the stem and getting riser mountain bike bars to help me sit more upright. Then, put Shimano mtb XT 9 speed shifters. Are the XT shifters compatible with 105??

thing is the mountain shifters don't have the trim positions road shifters have so are a bit fussier to fine tune
