Michelins are better as far as holding up.
The Hutchinsons are sticky and wear out fast!
Proformance had some Hutchinsons on sale so I bought another set even though I think they wear out quick.
The Michelin is my tire of choice, they are hard to beat.

I've never used the Pro Races but have tried various other Michelin tires over the years - High lite Supercomp, Synergic, Bi-Synergic, High Lite Prestige. To me, most of them have been very similar: fairly sticky, cut fairly easily, nice ride quality, medium tread life, and strudy casing.

Have receintly tried some Hutchinson's and find them very similar to the Michelins. In fact, I think Michelin makes Hutchinson tires - unable to confirm this however.

I say go for the Hutchinsons and same some cash.

Are you talking about an all around tire, or are you talking about a full race clincher ?

I've got the Carbon Comps. Although they're beautiful in the team colors, they really do just get cut and wear out too fast for the unsponsored rider. I used to have the Vittoria Rubinos and loved them. If you're going for a light race type tire, I think they must have kevar for durability. I'm going back to the Vittorias
