Joe Blow Pro no go(6 posts)

Joe Blow Pro no goeflayer2

Have this floor pump that I loved up until this morning. First the lever on the head came unhinged. Then when I got the pin back so the lever worked right, the pump head would totally leak as I pumped. Does it just need a new rubber thingy on the inside of the head? Should this need to be replaced after only 6 months? Do anybody know?

Happened to me once, just didn't get it back together correctly. Try again.
The lever broke on mine and I took it back to my LBS who replaced the entire pump, no charge.
You could easily replace just the chuck head with the same type or another type.

if you replace the heads with Silca heads. I've done it to 5 of them, then they work perfectly.

I have the same model. It took longer for mine to develop a similar problem, but all it took was an email to get a FREE REPLACEMENT head for my pump. They sent it on a Friday and I had it by that Monday.

Great customer service! Email them.

replacement head AND hose, two days after I dropped 'em an email. I will sing Topeak's customer-service praises any chance I get

Sounds like these guys know they are making (or made) a bad pump head. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so efficient at offering replacements!
