I weight 126lbs. I wish to use 2.0/1.5 DT revolution spokes for my 28h Ambrosio rim. However my LBS only stock length long enough just for 2 cross. Is 2 cross OK for DA hubs? I will use Competition and 3 cross for drive side.
You'll be fine. nm.russw19

Especially on a 28 hole hub, 2 cross is gonna provide a plenty big angle to stay away from pulling against the thin area above the spoke hole. The lacing will not contribute to spoke or hub failure- that's a very relaible lacing even for 32 or 36 hole hubs.

Your warrenty will be fine. 2 cross isn't radial. Heck, 1 cross isn't radial.

Actually, I've got a radially laced xtr 28 hole MTB wheel that has held up fine. I got the hub really cheap, so I wan't worried about the warrenty. XTR hub warrenties are for 5 years, and I expect it to last longer than that.
