|Can anyone recommend a good carbon repair guru or shop out there?
Long story short, I've got an old HED-3 rear wheel (it's actually a Specialized freewheel model if that's any indication how old) that's been run over a curb. There's a small dent in the rim, though the tire will stay inflated, and the carbon sheet has slightly separated from the rim on one side. No cracks or other damage to the carbon. The wheel is true and will roll, but with a noticable bump, bump, bump.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

|Chances are Hed will be your best bet. Others might be able to fix it but Hed would be most familiar with the design and thus the safest bet.|

|I'd second sending to to the manuacturer. My guess is that its totaled. Maybe they will be nice and replace it for half price. Don't ride it.|

|I was hoping to find somebody else, maybe an independent shop. If I had to guess, I'd bet that the manufacturer wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole for liability reasons. I'd never sue, but I doubt that HED would take my word for it...|| |
