Can I flip my seatpost around???kissthedemon

Hi - I have an Easton EC90 seatpost. I love it so far, but it seems to have a little too much rear offset for me and I need to move the seat all the way forward to get it into a position which is close to being right. Can I flip it around so that the offset faces forward instead? Or is that a bad idea? It probably wasn't designed to have the forces on it in that direction. I'm pretty sure the "relief area" is on both the front and the back part of the quil, so the clamp on the frame shouldn't be a problem. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

I haven't checked it out but you might not be able to get the angle right with the head facing the other way.
