Hello all. I'm looking to replace the bearings in my rear '00 dura-hub. They've really taken a beating over this wet NJ spring/summer and have developed a bunch of rust and corrosion. I guess I can Pick them up from loose screws but I need the dimensions. Or should I just throw some bb's from my air pistol in there and hope for the best?

Doesn't Loose Screws website list sizes?cory

Haven't looked in awhile, but I ordered some bearings from LS this spring, and I think the website listed common sizes. I wound up with the right stuff, anyway.

9 per side. Might as well replace the cones while you're at it. If your hubs had a lot of water for a long period without regreasing and cleaning, your hub's bearing cup and/or the freehub's bearing cup might be toast. If the hub cup is rusted and pitted, you need a new one. If the freehub cup is in done, that can be replaced easily at the time of bearing replacement but DuraAce/XTR aren't cheap, but Ultegra/XT fit and are cheaper (but heavier).

Regular service is not overrated. The worse the conditions, the more frequent the servicing.
