|Im riding a virtually stock OCR 3 with Sora components and an Alex wheelset. Ive set aside some cash for an upgrade. Should I go with drivetrain/brakes or a newer/lighter wheelset. I ride about 60 miles a day and plan on racing next season, if it makes a difference.|

|Which type depends on the types of racing you will be doing.|

|I agree with "wheels." They're probably the only component that'll make a noticeable difference to you in the way your bike rides.|

|the only other upgrades I'd suggest would be to the cockpit & contact points. If you haven't already done it, dial in your position on the bike & get good shoes, pedals and saddle. Wheels, pedals and saddle are all things you can move to a new bike when you're ready to move up, too.
Don't upgrade the drivetrain unless something breaks. Drivetrain upgrades may improve your shifting a little bit, and it's nice to see the Dura Ace or Ultegra names on parts, but they won't make you any faster.
