Shimano 6500 brake dust caps source?DINOSAUR

I can't find replacements for my 4 year old Shimano 6500 brake lever dust caps (my old bike). Does anyone know where I can purchase them over the internet? I've searched high and low and can't find them....

I don't know exactly what part you are talking about, but usually for small stuff like this from Shimano you need to go to a LBS that is a Shimano dealer and have them either look up the part, or call Shimano directly. That's the best bet. Sometimes Shimano will send this stuff out for free too, so give it a try.

Russ,

Thanks, I've been to my LBS and Shimano does not have the part in stock. It's the little plastic cover that snaps over the '99 Shimano Ultegra 6500 sti brake levers (the one's that rattle like crazy). It's no biggy, it's mainly cosmetic, but it would be nice to have them back on. I know Loose Screws does not stock them anymore, they are not an authorized Shimano distributor any longer....and if they don't have them I don't know who else would...
