What is the best crank, pedal, shoe, bb, for power transfer?youcancallmejoe

I have FSA cranks, coombe pro pedals, isis bb (yeah it might have bearing issues, supposed crank fit issues, etc, but it is oh sooo stiff), and sidi energy shoes that have the coombe cleat that does not need an adaptor plate (super low stack height).

The result is incredible power transfer. I climb my 14% grade in fifteen minutes compared to seventeen minutes with old power train (look pedals, ultegra cranks&bb, etc, etc).

Is this the case, or am I just psyched playing with my new doo dads?

Aluminum cranks are stiffer than carbon.
Pedals like Look or new Dura-ace that dont have float.
Stiff shoes with carbon soles like Nike.

Not enough to to take off that much time unless your old cranks were made of angel hair pasta and you were using sneakers on platform pedals!
