Selle SLR Gelflow or SLK?(4 posts)

Selle SLR Gelflow or SLK?wolfereeno

I'm currently riding a Flite Gelflow which is comfortable but doesn't have a lot of give. I sat on an SLR Gelflow at a bike show (wearing jeans though) and it seemed nice. Had a bit of flex that I liked, plus it's a lot lighter than the Flite. I also saw the SLK which seems to be pretty nice but wasn't mounted on anything. I can't imaging what it feels like to sit on with the two sides flexing totally independently.

Any opinions on either of these saddles?

Thanks

Just did a ride on my SLR gel flow- nice flex/firmness, but didn't line up with my anatomy correctly, I think I'll take it back and try out the SLK.

It's not to soft, not to stiff. You really don't notice any flexy weirdness- altough the thompson seat clamp really helps stiffen it up. Just rode 20 miles on it today.
