|Ive got a set of brand new custom built set of CR-420's Im planning on selling in the markeplace. I dont see retailers offering these wheels much. Whats a typical "good deal" price from a retailer on these wheels?
the AMClassic.com website says 285.95 front, $414.00 rear,
Custom Builds - $25 extra per wheel.
But we all know that its rare to have to pay full MSRP.
Anyone have some guidelines?

They're not listed on the website so you'll need to call.

|I got a set built with ritchey rims (the 16h front WCS and the 24h pro OCR rear). about 480g each. AE15 bladed spokes with wheelsmith DB14s driveside, alloy nipples everywhere save driveside. 400 bucks. if you read my thread in the racing forum, they performed damn well. if they ever make the CR420 rim available separately, I may well get a set built on that. but I know the rim walls are pretty thin, and the CR420 sets are expensive. for value, you can't beat Mike at odds and endos, plus he's a damn good wheelbuilder too. as I said, if Am Classic makes the 420s available separately, I may someday ask Mike to build me a set. his custom builds come at no extra charge. he didn't charge me extra to hunt those ritchey rims down, either.|

|american classic isn't honoring warranties on those wheels... apparently they're back door imports?... probably similar to the line mavic has taken with wheels bought from places like sdeals in ireland...
an acquaintance of mine purchased a 420 set from these guys, and encountered a problem. a.c. wouldn't warranty them... he then had a hard time getting a refund from bikesitalia... make your own mind up and good luck
