Thinking outloud - new saddle time......10kman
Jul 31, 2003 10:25 AM
Hey all,

Time for a new saddle. I need something that is narrow, but not too narrow, and for some reason, I need a very flat saddle.

The flite doesn't feel comfy to me, but the only time I used one was on my MTB, and the angle was way different than on a road bike.

I'm 145-150 pounds, so I don't need a ton of padding, but something with no stitching on the top is a must.

Any ideas or certain models to look for?? I'm scrolling through the reviews and not getting anywhere!!!

this shop [in UK] has a good selection; just browse to have a look at them all. The Selle Italia SLR is what I'd get if I was getting a new one, but it's pretty thin...

I have the Alliante. I like a pretty thin saddle and weigh 140lbs. The Alliante is a seriously nice saddle! Pricey, but my @ss was worth it! :)

I just got sent a Pave' to try out, but I have not tried it yet so I can't comment on it.
