cyclocross chainrings(3 posts)

Anyone out there know a source for cyclocross-size, shimano 130mm rings? Something like 34/46. Does such a thing even exist? I need them for Mt. Washington Hillclimb and cyclocross bike!!!! Thanks.

I doubt 34 is possible with 130mm bcd. There was a discussion of this (under the heading of "FSA compact cranks", like those used by Tyler Hamilton in TDF) on the newsgroup rec.bicycles.tech; check archives at groups.google.com. Cyclocrossworld.com and Peter White Cycles carry some non-standard chainrings, fwiw.
