|I'm considering a cannodale road bike, especially the R-800 series. The make a sport version with 700x25c tires and a Cannondale HeadShok Si for the stem. Anyone have any experience with the Cannondale HeadShok Si? Any suggestions?
I will be riding in mostly in an urban/suburban setting. I'm kind of heavy- 6'3" 210 lbs.

|The headshok works really well. If you intend to use your bike as a commuter, you'll probably like it. If you are looking for the lightest bike possible for your dollar you won't. I have a Cannondale Bad Boy with the headshok and love it.|

|I have a Bad-Boy too and love it too! Though I don't turn the shock on too much. It is nice to have available for whatever the road may be...|

|Perhaps you should post this message in the cyclocross section. The CX'ers use the XS800 & some of them pound the trails pretty hard & under those conditions, they are able to tell you how much of a pounding the Headshok unit can take. From my recollection, the reviews were favorable.
