|I'm in the market for another bicycle rack, I love the design of a roof rack but I just don't like looking at it on my car all the time. I'm just wondering how sturdy and secure the hunch rack is. I have been disappointed in the past with rear mounting racks I just don't have alot of confidence in their stability when I'm going 80 mph on the interstate, thanks for whatever help you can give me.|

|I have had one for several years. Got rid of roof rack after I ran into the garage not once but twice.
It has been a great rack. Have used it on a Hatchback where the bikes hang almost vertical, and on a sedan with trunk where the bikes sit almost horizantal.
On the hatchback , it was a little scary knowing that just the quick release was holding the bike one, I would always wrap a bungie cord through the locking holes of the QR lever to provide some tension on them, But never had any problems.
On the sedan, no problems, except I added another strap that connected under neath the car to pull the rack down. Only problem I had was when I forgot to secure the rear wheel tiedown.
You can put two wheels on the rack too, but you will need to overlap them.
I now have a truck and use Delta's truck rack which has been very good as well.
