It looks cool but is there a reason that they are no longer in production? Chucks bikes has them for $23 and I'm tempted to pick one up.

not sure on the history or production. they are still sold at either cc or excel, though. price is easily 2-3x chuck's price.

I bought one last year from chuck also. haven't used it yet, but i can say that it's awful purty on the workbench.

They still show up on Cinelli's site.

Just because they are at Chuck's doesn't mean they are out of production. Check closely, he only has one size.

I can comment on the b-groove bar.....I love it.

I guess that I was just assuming since I have seen them on close out at a couple of places.

i bought one a year ago to put on a new frame, then sold it a few months later cuz i couldn't get used to the way it looked. but to each his own... it's a quality stem though. the finish was first rate--almost impossible to scratch (mine was black). also was very stiff, which it should be since the profile is pretty large.
