Help with Bontrager Race-Lite Tires?(3 posts)

Help with Bontrager Race-Lite Tires?globalhelipimp

In the past 3 weeks I've put 250 miles on my Race-Lite
tires, but am wondering if I should be using a different
all-around tire? If so, what tire? I've heard good things
about the Continental GP 3000?

Should I be saving my Race-Lite tires?

Thanks,

Dave

Conti GP3000, Michelin Axial Pro Race, etc. are all comparable tires and will work just fine. Your tires will not win or lose races if you stay in the top of the line from the major manufacturers.

Yeah, I'd get a training tire of some kind. I have the Race-lites and after less than 500 miles they're all cut up and starting to worry me. I'm going to buy some cheaper durable tire to ride everyday and get some lite tires to race with. I wouldn't save the Bontagers for anything. But if yours are still ok why not.
