Inner tube poll.....SLR

What kind of tubes are you rollin' with? I've seen 50g - 100g tubes. What is the best all around tube for training/racing and does the weight really make that much difference? How 'bout butal vs latex.
Thanks,
SLR

I've given up on them. Big deal...so you save 25 grams or some tiny amount. I made the mistake and bought three Bontranger ultralight tubes. These suckers blow without so much as a poke. I think riding in 90 degree heat overheats the tubes and poof! Life's too short to change flats on every ride. just my $.02 Paul

..have been using them for years(racing/training), without any problems! The only downside is that Latex tubes don't hold air as well as butyl, so after a day or so, you'll have to pump up the tires again. Weight wise, it will be difficult to notice, while riding, any difference between a light latex tube, in comparison to a butyl tube.

Smooth valve stem that doesn't tear your pump grommet, durable, 70 gm, holds air for days - what more could you want?
