|'04 Dura-ace compatability with '03 Dura-ace||schills|

Does anybody know about the compatability of these two groups? Could I over time swap out componants? For example, if I need a new deralleur, could I buy the 10sp and keep the rest of my rig 9sp or would I need the new levers as well? I assume the front der. is no big deal? Same for cranks and bb as long as they are swapped at the same time. I imagine chains are not compatable, and I know that 9sp wheels can take 10sp cassettes although there will be slight overhang(whatever that means), but 10sp wheels can't take 9sp cassettes.

|The front derailleur of DA's 10sp is supposed to be narrower to work with the narrower chain. I do not know whether you would have any difficulty running 10sp with a 9sp front derailleur. There are some tech questions answered over at cyclingnews.com.
