|I was wondering if there is any difference in the chainrings between shimano 9 speed and campy 10 speed. Are they interchangeable? Also, are there any differences between the actual cranks besides the bottom bracket?
|Yes they are different.||the bull|

|The bottom brackets use different style axle.
The Campy one is square and the Shimano has its own funky styled axle.
You can use the Campy set up with Shimano and vice versa but it wont shift as well because they are not desigined to work outside of there own group as the chains are a different width.

|and campy rings are 135 BCD and shimano are 130,so they don't interchange. I used a shimano 8 speed 600 crankset with campy 10 drivetrain.No issues.Many people interchange cranksets/BB between the two groups.|| |
