Does anyone use these little cable tunnels? I've unwrapped several sets of bars and found most people don't use them. I think they would be bulky and, having edges, not very comfortable.

just for grins. not much difference, they do make the effective top of the bar a little bit "flatter" and I don't find the effect uncomfortable. don't know if I'd use them again or not - sort of "whatever grabs you at the moment."

Done both. If the bar doesn't have a groove for the cable housing, I actually prefer to use it.

I like them because I prefer a little more substance to the top bar. They make the top of the bar a little more flat and when you climb on the tops, it's a natural feel on the fingers to grip the font edge with the tunnels.

My bars have cable grooves, and so the bar feel is more or less round without the tunnels. Just depends on what you like best.
