Campy Neutron wheel repair- Help!boneman

Bit of an accident this morning, hitting a pedestrian, crosing in the bike lane against the light, going 23mph. Nice pile up, landing on my head (helmet) and back. Pedestrian was shook up but fine.

My front Neutron's is toast. No trueing up will save this baby. Anybody ever replaced the rim themselves or by their LBS and how much did it cost?

I've got this bad feeling that it will be almost as cheap to buy a new wheel as it is to get it fixed.

Any thoughts besides the usual bit about not being able to rebuild boutique wheels?

Thanks in advance.

and spokes. not cheap, but I think it will turn out cheaper than a new one. iirc, you need a 5mm socket driver to turn the nipples. someone who actually has a set of Neutrons could tell you if I'm right.
I hope your spokes aren't damaged?

Thanks. Already checked out their site. Spokes seem okay so it's just the rim, pricey at $140+. Did a bit of an endo, landing on my head. Helmet's surprisingly okay although my neck and back are sore.
Get a new helmet. Your head's worth it. nmdzrider
