Ksyriums for Campy?(3 posts)

Ksyriums for Campy?BigFatSal

Upgrading my wheelset and new to this site, but judging by the popularity of the Ksyriums I would think they'd be available for either Campy or Shimano compatibility. Yet, on the sites that sell Ksyriums I only see them listed as being Shimano compatible.... What's the deal? Would I need to retrofit the rear wheel with other parts to fit a Campy 10 speed Chorus cassette on it? If yes, at what cost? Thanks.

Try "totalcycling.com" They have them in Campy for $632. I bought a set with Shimano a while back for $670. You have to pay duty of about $35 and shipping of about $20. You can talk to the shop by phone also.

You can get the exact same performance of Ksyriums (maybe a bit lighter!) with Record hubs laced to Velocity Aerolites or Open Pros. The only downside is that you'll have to spend $300 less than your best deal on Ks. Oh, and you won't have those chi-chi wheels to show off.
