9 Speed Chrorus with Dura Ace components?Juanmoretime

A friend of mine was complaining about numb hands constantly while riding his bike, I had the same problem. He's changed spacers, stem lengths and different rises, different bars withoot it helping. I did the same thing and when I changed to Ergo shifters, the numbness in my hands went away. I loaned him one of my bikes to try and he found the numbness in his hands went away. Here's my question: Has any one, his bike is all Dura Ace 9 speed, run Ergo 9 speed shifters with the balance of components Shimano? If so, how did it shift. He needs to do this conversion as cheap as possible.

Thank you in advance for any help.

This has been asked many times. You can use campy 10 speed shifters, and route the RD cable under the shimano cable clamp to lengthen the lever arm of the derailleur and reduce the travel.

The details are at the Hub Bub website.
