DA 10-speed cassette info...divve

It's just preliminary but here goes...the 10-speed cassette is said to actually be narrower than the 9-speed. The individual cogs are 3.9mm versus 4.35, including the slightly narrower spacing the 10-speed will require an extra spacer to fit the older 9-speed hubs. I'm assuming that this is the reason 9-speed cassettes won't fit 10-speed hubs...it's simply too wide:) (I realize there might be slight difference in the splines as well.) For the remainder, the 10-speed chain is 5.9mm wide, which is if I'm not mistaken 0.65mm narrower compared to the current 9-speed version.

How does the individual cog width and spacing width compare to Campagnolo 10 speed?

The widths of 3.9mm and 4.35mm are shift spacing specs. The cogs are much thinner than that of course:) On the 10-speed Campy the spacing is 4.12mm, which makes it incompatible again.
