|Have anyone managed to remove this expander bolt out of a alloy steerer?.

|Campy supplies the common "star fangled nut" with their headsets.
Removing one won't be fun. Perhaps if the center aluminum portion was drilled out, the steel ears could be bent in enough to get it out.
Someone will also mention the possibility of driving the nut all the way through the steering tube, if the bottom is completely open.

|Those are in there really tight. As C-40 said you may be able to push it forward, but I doubt you'd ever be able to pull it back up. The litte wings are really tough (sharp and stiff) and on an angle pointing up. They really bite into the alloy.
Just wondering why you want to remove it? If you wanted to cut down your fork a little, you could just drive it further down.

|I want to move it up the tube a litte. I believe that the only solution is to push it in to the bottom and insert a new one is this the only solution?.|

|You could try a longer bolt. But other than that, push it down and put a new one in.

|OMFG it's now bad advice to tell someone that you can not pull a star-fangled nut out of a fork. News flash... you can't. And the weight penalty.... a whole 25 grams.... Stop eating donuts if that is going to bother you.
It's one thing if this was a joke, but if so, the overly dramatic title line is way overkill.
