How to apply linseed oilmgolebiewski

I am looking at treating my new frame for rust and decided to go with linseed oil since alot of places don't carry Frame Saver.

First off I assume that what I want is linseed oil from any hardware store.

Second I assume I pour it it into the seat tube and rotate the frame around to get it to run down the stays and main tubes. Then I do the same from the head tube.

Do I need to completly strip the frame to do this, or can the bottom bracket stay in? I do alot of my own tuning.., but do not have tools or practice removing cranks and the BB, and don't want to unless I have to.

Given its aresol nature is Frame Saver easier to get into all of the tubes and would using it allow me to keep the BB in the bike?
