|Searched the board and read the reviews.... thinking of plunking down the coin for the Aerolites built by Dave Thomas/Speeddream. Can't find a bad word about them. I ride on OP/Dura Ace and Race on old Yr 2000 Ksyriums. The Aerolites look to be about 1400g. This is about 200-250+ grams lighter than the ksyriums and you cud have them built up with 30mm deep v rims to get an aero advantage.
Is a 200g savings a noticable difference when riding. Anyone want to push me over the edge to buy these things.

|Is the 200g noticeable vs K's. I have no idea. Is the weight difference noticeable vs. the OP's...Yes. I ride 32 spoke OP's with record hubs.as training/2nd set wheels.
Does that push you over the edge??
Here's something to help. Service. I've had a run of bad luck with my speedreams this spring. hit a rock and dented the rear rim, front rim cracked at spoke eyelet. In each occasion, Dave did the work and returned the wheels within ten days. Each time the rim was replaced and wheel rebuilt for around $60 (since I was out of warranty). Within the two year warranty time, the work would have been done for free on the front wheel. The rear wheel was my own dumb fault.
